Harris County adopted a 67.147 cent tax rate. Operations went up 5.6 percent and debt service went up 23.2 percent.
Commissioners adopted the 2026 rate 3-1 on September 17. The county’s own OMB table splits the 7.6 percent into two lines that did not move together.
